This opportunity is open to people of all skill levels - it could be a great opportunity for someone with experience in Precision Grinding, a Tradesperson, or someone who is keen to pursue a career in the mechanical engineering industry.
In return, we offer great apprenticeship and other learning programmes, free onsite parking, a generous hourly rate, and overtime rate are on offer for the right person. We're looking for someone who works well with people from all backgrounds with a positive, can-do attitude.
In addition, the following skills and experience would be beneficial:
Previous grinding or machine operation experience
Conservant with accurate measurement techniques
Understanding of standard drawing tolerancing
Knowledge of wheel grades, sizes and speed selections for a wide range of material conditions
