JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a rare opportunity to join a Government agency and lead a small team to manage procurement strategy and oversee the organisations procurement plans, processes and frameworks.

You will play a key role and provide procurement advice and guidance across the business and at the senior level.

Deliverables will include:

Develop procurement processes that support the business to deliver procurement and supplier management outcomes.
Set procurement strategy, policies and processes
Lead and develop a small team of procurement professionals
Facilitate strategic spend planning
Provide key advice across the business.

To be successful you will bring:

Experience in the development and management of teams.
Proven influencing and negotiation experience at the senior level
Experienced in challenging and analysing complex data

Ability to bring together business inputs to develop strategy and planning.
End to end procurement experience using the Government Rules of Sourcing.
Experienced in managing complex and high value contracts
