JOB DESCRIPTION

This Government organisation is seeking to appoint an experienced procurement professional to manage the procurement function in Wellington.

You will bring solid experience managing end to end procurement projects and be familiar operating within the Government Rules of Sourcing.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Experience managing end to end procurement projects.
Supplier relationship management.
Experience in the ICT sector and a track record of managing suppliers in this sector.
Effective negotiation experience leading and facilitating positive commercial outcomes.
Sound commercial
acumen with an understanding of contracts.
A mix of commercial and government procurement is ideal.
