An Australian-owned Fintech is looking for QA Engineers to help teams design for testability, and eliminate defects, errors, and problems as early as possible through manual and automated testing.
You will work with Agile teams across internal projects, and on verification of vendor and client creations.

You will have a desire and focus on automating as much as possible, with a willingness to manually test terminal devices and software when required.
Responsibilities of the role:
Review requirements and user stories for testability Work closely with Agile delivery teams Test our solutions and document test plans, scripts, results, and summary reports. Provide input to technical designs and architecture. Prioritise the design and creation of automated tests Develop and execute manual test scenarios where automation is not practical Develop and maintain automation frameworks (especially Data Driven Framework using POM pattern, TestNG, and Behaviour Driven Development). Review and creation of automation test scripts using Java/Selenium. Set-up Microsoft Azure pipelines to implement CI for the execution of automation scripts. API testing using Postman. Manage and resolve any potential issue with the technical departments and provide support to release into UAT and Production Scheduled. Develop, implement, and monitor various testing
metrics and reports to capture testing results. Perform review and interact with the developers and business users to communicate the defects using JIRA, and Microsoft Azure. Continuously identify new tools and methodologies to improve testing activities. Perform Functional, System, Integration, Database, Smoke, Regression and Production verification testing. Conduct workshops, stakeholder engagement, preparation of business cases., testing of a solution with internal/external clients and vendors. Meet with project team regularly to review project status, deliverables, and deadlines. Performed review, impact assessments and managed solutions on all scheme’s certification processes.   
What you will bring to the table:
Experience in software quality and test roles Strong desire to break solutions Strong Agile experience Good understanding of software architecture Good understanding of software release processes Ability to create manual and automated tests from acceptance criteria and requirements Experience with testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, Telerik, GTest, Ceedling, Xray for JIRA, and/or Spira Test Payments industry experience is desirable – including knowledge of AS2805 or ISO8583, switching systems, and Back Office payment platforms.
